  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The Red Dragons confirmed their second straight promotion to show the returns on the investment put into the club by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in November 2020, when Wrexham were strugglers in the National League. The club appointed Parkinson as their manager in the summer of 2021, and since then he has led the club to a record-breaking title win in the National League and now their automatic promotion to the the third tier of English football.

  Wrexham can still make it two league title wins in two years as they sit second in League Two. However, it will depend entirely on a potential collapse by league leaders Stockport County in their final three games of the season. Stockport currently sit four points clear of Parkinson's side and also have a game in hand over the Red Dragons.
