Richarlison has drawn comparisons with Brazil icon Ronaldo Nazario after the Tottenham striker scored a brilliant overhead kick against Burnley on Saturday. The Selecao forward completed his brace around the hour mark with a world-class strike as Thomas Frank's side kicked off the 2025-26 Premier League with a thumping win at home over the Clarets.

  Richarlison's brace helped Tottenham Hotspur kick off the new season with a dominant 3-0 win over newly promoted Burnley on Saturday at home. The Brazil star opened the scoring in the 10th minute, before doubling his team's lead around the hour mark. New Spurs signing Mohammed Kudus sent an inch-perfect inside the penalty box and the Brazilian found the back of the net with a brilliant overhead kick. The strike was very similar to how Richarlison scored against Serbia in the 2022 World Cup.

  As Richarlison inspired a stunning start to Spurs' new season, fans hailed the Selecao forward's brilliance and some of them even compared the striker to the legendary forward Ronaldo.
